New things

Over the weekend, I began feeding dry food from the one main bowl in the cat room. I don't know if it was a good idea; they didn't eat all that I put down but did eat a good deal of it. I will continue to do this for a few more days and then switch back to leaving an extra bowl in my room so more than one cat can feed at once without any pressure from another cat. The forced bonding will be over if I can't tell a difference in the cats for the better.

Frankie was watching the toilet again on Saturday, it's his favorite thing, to see it flush. Then he left and I was calling him back, well, Vincent came to me instead and then Frankie went to him and rubbed cheek to cheek with Vincent. Instead of walking away, Vincent just stayed there and let Frankie do it again. I guess they are beginning to get close and then...

I was holding Vincent this morning on the couch and Frankie was already laying on the couch--he headbutted Vincent 2x and Vincent didn't get upset or anything.

Frankie still tries to be friends with Magic and she still hisses or will hiss and give a swat at him to let him know she is not going to be his friend. He just stands there with his ears forward, waiting to see what her next move is. Usually she hops off, annoyed.

Thinking about it, I have had Frankie just over a month and he's made pretty good progress. The 9th of Aug is Frankie's second month, we'll see how they are then!
