Read yesterday's first if you haven't

THIS SHOULD AMUSE YOU.

I am laughing my pants off at myself, after all.

Last night I set up the syringes of meds, one by one. The cap for the stuff fits just less than one dose for the boys and Magic’s dose just fine so it is dump and then suck it up with the syringe. I cleared space on the small part of my kitchen counter. Frankie was first on my list but he knew what I was doing and quietly went upstairs. So I laid on the couch for ten min and watched TV. When he wasn’t suspecting, I grabbed him from the couch. Placed him on the counter and did the first squirt, after some struggle. He decided to use his front paws in his own defense, so I used the throw blanket from the livingroom couch to wrap him up with just his head out and squirted again with success. However, Frankie moved and a line of white ended up on my t-shirt. Frankie managed to get a front paw out for the third shot so I rewrapped him and then squirted and was done–he got his 90% at least of the meds. Were ALL the cats going to be like this? I didn’t want to ask myself.

Magic was next. I ditched the blanket for her, held tight and got her 3 squirts in. Finally was Vincent, my poor, confused, little blind one. His went down pretty easy, too, not without a bit of fight and he really tries to spit the concoction back out! Soon I had him finished and could go on to the fun part of the night...Din din! They all happily came out of hiding for that, though Magic was not hiding at all and Vincent was wondering what I was up to. Frankie had hidden under the dining table but came out when I brought his food over. And thus, my house was at peace for the night.

AND Then–

Vincent had a brain fart overnight or something. I think he forgot Frankie lives with us full time. Any way, I was slowly waking up this morning, dozing really, and Vincent is sitting on my bed, lightly purring to himself. He sniffs my left arm and I hear him lick his chops. He does this a couple more times. My eyes fly open when he does it and I don’t know if he can hear my eyes opening but he seemed to. Finally, he decided to go for it and CHOMP right on my arm! Well, it made me wake up but it wasn’t a very hard chomp. More of a test chomp. So I scruffed him and shoved him over the bed, in the direction of the floor.
Frankie was on the floor near the door of the room and went to greet Vincent and Vincent was like, WHOA what the gosh darn heck are YOU still doing here? He hissed and walked off. Too funny!

Tonight’s zoo...can’t wait to see.
